Nov 20th, 2015Buying a few more bottles to put away for several years. This is a beauty and an excellent value. Trust in Kermit. #savennieres #loirevalley #cheninblanc

Should of aged it but wanted to try. Really pretty. Bees wax and honey dew at first smell. Then opens up to wet pebbles, sea breeze, morning dew. Pallet is crisp and clean. Really pretty.

Seems a little one-dimensional. Cantaloupe and melon rind on the nose continue into the palate. Body feels like drinking lemon water. A little too clean and striped for me.

Jan 18th, 2015Nice acid. I wish we had time to decant this and let it unveil itself but we had it in Paris for vacation and not that patient. Really good for the price.

Lemon curd, pear, chamomile, and something bready and warm leads to lingering notes marzipan, all wrapped up in a distinct saline package. Lovely. Fun fact: the Bizard family has been vinifying Chenin Blanc from this domaine since 1750, which itself dates to the 11th century(!).
