Cuvée Viva Premières Côtes de Blaye Red Bordeaux Blend

Dry and oaky. Strawberry on the nose. Dark cherry on the tongue. Definitely a food wine, which paired well with steak.

Fantastic Bordeaux value. Mouth-coating and dense with loads of ripe blackberries and plenty of tar and toasty spice to boot.

Right out of the bottle (plus 6 hours later) a BIG ripe strawberry nose, blended with oak. This wine has "legs"; a quality that seems lost on American wines. Due to that, the viscosity is quite silky and medium-bodied with lovely cherry, tannins, acid and a hint of oak on the palate. Drink or hold this great wine!

This is a beautiful Bordeaux!
