Cuvée Viva Premières Côtes de Blaye Red Bordeaux Blend

Excellent value right bank that’s in a perfect spot for drinking. Heady, sanguine nose. Round, caressing mouthfeel with the edges smoothed out. The palate is all about sweet leather, tobacco, dark fruit and a minty finish. Slightly drying finish but at this price , it’s nit picking. Reminder that many humbly priced Bdx can age nicely in the medium term.

Dense, tannic, smelled strawberry after reading other ratings

Stylish bordeaux for this price. Dominant juicy strawberry note on nose, viscous, smooth on palate. Not tannic.
