Rich and full bodied. Smooth with slight acidity towards the end. Excellent low tier.

Aromas are earthy and old world. Some cherry after that blows off but earthy hay or such is still present. Color on 2008 is looking a little old. Tannins are there and short finish. Not much fruit on palette. Body is not great either.
