Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

The window is open here. Dark fruit and earth nose. Mid-weight and fruit forward - plum and cherry, with some dusty earth and mineral underneath. Pleasantly textured and detailed. Nice balance of fruit, savory, tannin and acid. Good stuff.

Nose: oak and pencil lead.
Taste: lots of coffee grounds, bittersweet chocolate, raisins and prune.

A medium, classic vintage not overwhelming one - a wine that needs time to mature

Gorgeous nose of ripe strawberry, plum, with hints of graphite/iron minerality, and cardamom. Unripe red fruits and more minerality on the palate, violet florality. Bright acidity and tannins only medium

Light smooth, less fruity than expected. Overall great with red meat

4th growth-second wine, harder edged red fruit, iron smell

Magnum, quite good

The best Paulliac I never heard of. Balanced and refined.
