This is now one of the finest wine I have every drank. Everything about this wine is unbelievable. The tannins were silky smooth, the fruit still very discernible ( at this age) crazy we drank it blind and we got everything right except the age. It was dark red to purple so I guess 1996. Lol. Only 30 years off. Now if only every wine tasted liked this.

Lovely earth and dried leaves overtones. Drinking nicely now but drink up since it is beginning to fade a bit. Needs time to open however- ironically.
