Graves Red Bordeaux Blend

Most youthful bottle of this wine I have had to date. Pungent aromas of Cassis , mineral , violets , spice , wet tobacco . Density and power tastes more like the 89! than 79.

A runner up in the flight. Seductive on the char/smokey and savory side, with compact, juicy fruit that filled the palate. Showing well.

From a split. Tired but good leather and tar and violets.

Birth Year Bottle! An aromatic powerhouse with aromas of truffle, cedar, cigar box & violets. The finish is a little on the lean side, although that is probably more a feature of the vintage. The '89 was a pretty tough act to follow.

Blanc

A delight that opened up over beautifully over a few hours. A knock out nose and had a lovely bit of freshness on the back end.

If blinded tasted I could recognize Bordeaux nose of GCC! Tuile, foin, herbes séchées, rancio, vivacité au nez. Bouche sur le caoutchou, seveux, élégant et bonne acidité et ferme laissant présager de bonnes années devant lui. Finale sur poivre noir et blanc écrasé. Joli

Great texture, long and tons of fruit left

Sadly.... Corked.

Wow! Very tasty wine. Gave it about 30 minutes and it came alive.
