Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Not amazing.

From the label, “Merlot dominates with fruit and freshness. Cab Sauv brings structure and concentration.” Let’s just see... agree with previous comments about fantastic nose. Taste is rather bland though. Had hoped for more because of the old vintage. Maybe it needs to breathe, a lot?

Pleasant fruit dark cherry spice licorice nose. Light tannins acid med body leather. Yum

A decent wine for everyday drinking. Dark fruit, Licorice and minerality with medium tannins and acidity. Not complex and yet not a one note wine.

Easy to drink, dark berries and darker coffee notes as well. Great casual red. 2009 vintage.

Just picked up a case of this delicious wine. Highly recommend. House wine at Le Chelot in NYC

Nice QPR! Very distinct... A cross between new and old World style from Bordeaux!
