Dustiness and blackberry brambles. A touch of smoke. Palate is full of fruit blue and black, perfect tannins and lovely but restrained acidity. The 2016 is young but has beautiful gravel and smoke. Palate weight is so balanced. Finish is so clean and mouthwatering. One of the greatest wines I’ve ever had.

Freshness, alpine note to it, fresh cut herbs, eucalyptus, strawberries, Balsamic, dried figs, sandalwood, cedar, dark chocolate, violets. Beautiful, eternally complex, and so delicate, soft, silky, and vibrant for its age.

Absolutely beautifull, tannins are still a bit harsh, but few more years should be good. Perfect pairing with “ries de veau”.
