A sleeper from a difficult vintage providing much pleasure. The wine is delicately framed, but redolent of baking spices, camphor, tea and red fruits. Very charming and a delicious drink.

Some cosmetic wear but the wine was stunning! Smokey, and earthy at first but the gave way to dried red fruits, menthol, slightly floral aromatics, and tea like tannins. So smooth and elegant, perfect bottle! #50yearsyoung

Wow, still amazing after 49 years. All secondary aromas are there, and taste is even with a smooth flow from start to finish.

This was most likely the best bottle of wine i've ever had. Smooth, aged, well balanced. Wish i had another bottle.
