Woah. Wonderful dark mountain fruit - with tannins that'll rip your face off. The fruit is shining through already, but you'll certainly need to lay this one down for a couple/few years. Enjoyable, but I never should've opened (ok, Coravined) this so soon

The fruit for this wine comes from high elevation vineyards in the Howell Mountain Appellation, where soils are volcanic in origin. Hand harvested, the fruit was subjected to a three-tiered sorting process, including an optical sorter. The wine was aged in French oak barrels, 50% of which were new, for 21 months. Our 2012 vintage is composed of 99% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Merlot. 518 cases were produced.
