More grit than grace, but not without its charms. Earthy notes of cranberry and cherry picked a week too soon. A little thin on the palate, with a distinctly green streak that betrays the fruit’s modest ambitions. Still, what it lacks in polish it makes up for in verve. At least it’s not a fruit bomb like some new world pinots.
