Novicium Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend

Who says 2011 is an off vintage. Big black and blue bruiser.

Holy beauty in a bottle!

Decanted an hour prior to drinking but after a few hours it just kept getting better and better. Beautiful rich red and black fruit at the start, a creamy, mouthwatering middle, and elegant tannins creating a LONG finish. This may be a top 5 Napa wines I’ve ever had.

Very smooth red blend (Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc) with such me berries and spice, at dinner with friends in Boston

Beautiful deep purple color. Nose has notes of suede, clove, white pepper and anisette. Plum, white pepper, black tea and a hint of milk chocolate on the palate. Tannins are definitely here to party but they integrate well.

Big, bold and spicy. Tannins are firm but balance the blue fruit well. Enjoyable as always - a bit more aggressively styled than the Continuum.

Needs more time. Finish is too bright

Oak hasn't integrated yet. Need more time in cellar.

Floral, feminine and classy. A joyful glass of black fruit.
