Wonderful aromas of smokiness. The vanilla really comes through in this vintage. Was served chilled by a restaurant, still very pleasing. Looking froward to try again at room temperature.

Dry sweet and spicy. I liked the smoky berry tones with enough acidity to quelch the currant and bolder flavors.

Strong jammy fruit like eating black cherries soaked in bourbon. As someone else has said, not a good wine to drink with food, but not a bad after dinner sip especially with a piece of chocolate. Probably would not buy again.

Currant and blackberry on the nose. Darker color with good legs. Currant, blueberry - really tight after 10!minutes. Needs to sit for two years or decant.
