A wine being hawked by a big box wine store. Not sure why “Reserve” is put on a $13 wine?? Typical red fruit aromas and woodsy spice. On the palate simple cherry/raspberry flavors, some pepper spice, not very complex. Tasted hot with an alcohol burn and when I looked at the label, it was only 13.5 ABV so where did burn come from? Biting tannins, medium, ending was a bit off. Overpriced at $13. Tasting Sample.
