The Laughing Magpie McLaren Vale Shiraz Viognier
McLaren Vale, Fleurieu, South Australia, AustraliaOne of the better Shiraz I've had. Bacon fat, cured meats, ripe red and black fruit, and hints of eucalyptus balanced by lovely acidity and fine tannins.

Some yang at Yen on our last night in Asia. Did pretty well with our 10,000th pork dish. BBQ pork and ooey gooey juicy shiraz. Pretty solid.

A nice drop. Would be a great addition to my wine cellar.
