Winemaker's California Red Blend

Gary purchased this at The Galloping Grape in Warrenton, Virginia. Tried 2014 vintage and liked rich blend and texture. 12/28/17

Surprisingly good

Good daily drinker. Interesting enough to bring to a dinner party.

Nice wine for the price. Medium bodied, flavors of berries.

This is a smooth blend that has a moderate fruit and is quite pleasing. It has a bit of acidity and starts to tempt you that it will finish boldly, but quickly fulfills it's destiny as an asomotous red table wine. I was not upset by this as the bottle was on sale! However, I must agree with other tasters who correctly suggest that there are far better red blends in this price range.
