Strong nose of licorice and plums, and very jammy. Strong sense of syrah. Each sip starts very muted and develops a red fruit flavor profile with slight pepper. The taste never quite gets fruity enough for the wine's medium-high acidity, medium tannins, and dryness. Average table wine.
