Volcanic Hill Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Remarkable how this has held together considering the abuse the bottle when through. A light green quality runs through suggesting it may have been quite angular in its youth. A very delicate black fruit quality and rich tannins still running through.

Bright, funky, and dirty. VA, spice, carob, and flat acid finish.

Note to self: drink more old school Napa Cab. #birthyear

Red Rock Terrace was corked but Volcanic Hill was awesome

Better than the 85 mayacamas but still sliding downward. 5 years past it’s prime. Don’t wait

Blinded and whiffed it big time. Aldo Sohm tricked me again. Really lovely wine, tastes far younger than it is.
