I’m in an inadvertent D&R kick, only because of where my cellar’s drinking windows sit. Normally D&R squarely eschews mainstream, but only just slightly with this one. This is Viognier through and through, just a bit fresher on the palette, making it nice in warm weather. Same richness you’d expect, otherwise. — 1 hour later & at a warmer temp — it changed considerably in the fresh direction. Lemons, minerals, nice acid. Some i our party thought it was IPOB Chardonnay.

My love for Dirty and Rowdy’s wines continues to grow deeper and deeper. Beautiful floral nose with hints of honeydew melon, river pebbles, lemon zest. My nose perks up towards the end with the smell of white peaches. A lush, velvety texture. bright acidic finish that brings a rush of apricots, Bosc pears, wood, and Carmel apples. Terrific with roast chicken
