Tasted blind. Medium gold. Flinty nose. Notes of Meyer lemon, pit fruit, wet stones. High pitched. Was told this was recently opened and at first this is on the fruity side and not showing much acidity and power. Guessed a non-Chardonnay grape. With ~2 hours of air this blossomed to show its pedigree. Great juice. Went back to this several times, it was the first empty of tasting.

This was a beauty as well. More golden in color than the 04 and more richness on the palate. Again this did not transform as much as I had hoped over the evening but nonetheless quite and honor to have tasted this
