Cherry, menthol aromas. Medium bodied with medium acidity, more cherry fruit with earthy herbal flavors on the palate. Silky, smooth finish, hint of blackberry. Prior bottles of this vintage seemed to leaner/ greener, but not this one. Upright 5 days, decanted off sediment.

Moderate plus intensity garnet; moderate intensity aromas; earthy/ mushroom, green pepper, deep red fruit; savory spice (licorice); low acidity, moderate tannins, medium bodied, red fruit, spice; short finish (more stems!). Complex and nicely balanced. Tannins still a bit harsh on the finish.
