Spotted on a wine list for well below retail—in Las Vegas of all places! Had to pull the trigger and it didn’t disappoint. No detailed notes but it was gorgeous with tons of complexity and character. Lucky find in a sea of overpriced trophy cabs

Very evolved color and nose -- I'd guess 10+ years older than it is. On the palate this is well into secondary stage, with Burgundian notes of cherries, cranberries, and cedar, but then some cigar and a hint of VA too. Mid-weight, very elegant and extremely well balanced. Long finish. This is in a great spot now but it's time to drink up
