Honeycomb and candied apple on the nose. Striking acidity and firm structure on the palate. Very fresh and bright for an almost 30 year old wine, with an uplifting kick post mid-palate. Great fun to postulate the characteristics of a unique and aging Loire Chenin.

1989 vintage showing really well. Honeysuckle, camomile tea, mellow oak, slight French vanilla, ripe bruised red apples. Good acidity. Can't believe it's 15% alcohol.
