Just a pleasure to drink. So much going on. Reminds me of one of my all time favorites a 1996 Crozes Hermitage made for the millennium. Started with some menthol then went to sweet cherries and leather.

Plump fruit, truffle like earthiness, with a peppery edge. Bright herbs and fruit on the palate, with a plump, fleshy texture. Muscular but bright. Sun baked spices permeate. Such a fantastic wine in every respect.
