A spectacular bottle at Ma Cuisine in Beaune! This dark fruited, minty, refreshing wine had all the virtues of the best of Volnay; good richness, perfect texture, amazing length and fine acidity. It was great with duck and even better with pigeon!

Opened up after a hour pulling cork. Very rustic as first, moving into a sold wine, but not classic Volnay silk
