Les Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay

A beautiful lush expensive nose. Lime, soft, honey, integrated oak, some white flowers and white pepper. Lovely and broad with beautiful acidity and great balance, exceptional

Limpid lemon oil and shells on the nose. Poised and balanced. Really fresh with a salinity and good soft acidity. Very pretty.

Birthday wine. Love this wine. Fantastic producer and the 14’s are at a good point right now. Not too fat with some good minerality.

True to its site, reserved aromas evoking citrus and mineral and ever so slight creme brûlée. Taught and crisp, this delivers the goods. Perhaps opened a bit too early but very drinkable now.

Lemon curd on acid. Continued to open over the evening with white flower, peach aromas and greater length. Excellent pale yellow color indicating a long life ahead.

I'm not really a Mersault guy but this...this is good.
