In pursuit of the perfect Bourgogne. This is a very strong contender. Silly nose with screaming red cherry, it took me back to my childhood when we had cherry juice in big 3-liter jars. Once the nose calms down, we have a very nice, rich-dark-fruit-meets-forest kind of lean Burgundy — silky on the palate, with a pinch of green tannins. Highly recommend.
