nose shows cinnamon, spice, black pepper, red licorice, garrigue, earth, a little leather, olive oil and kalamata. smells like delicious rhone.
the flavors are strong and sumptuous. black fruit, leather, kalamata, herbs, smooth tannins....soft mouthfeel punctuated with spice. rustic but elegant.
