Musky red fruits, wet leaves, damp forest, mushroom, licorice root, something slightly mentholated. An earthy and soulful wine that brought back memories of the first time I tasted red Burg. The vintage imprint is there and its classic and traditional upbringing make for a remarkably charming wine with a definite “old-school” feel
