A big Sangiovese with some punch to it, this is a great general purpose food wine. Predominant flavors are cherry and dark plum, with some acidity to the finish. It is fuller bodied than the average Sangiovese, pairing nicely adobo loco steak with poblano, corn, and crispy potato hash. Bellissimo!

More tannin than thought it would have. Toward end of bottle darker fruit prevailed.
