Definitely should have given this at least 24 hours to open. Way too young to drink. Don't open unless it's 15 years or older. These wines can age 70 to 100 years. So they say.

Smooth as silk, tannins gone, perfectly balanced a steak and mushroom dinner. Crumbled cork, but didn’t affect the wine.

A little disappointing for a Dominus - seemed past it's peak, lacked the robustness and fruit I would have expected.

Have always wanted to try Dominus and it did not disappoint. Chocolate, leather, and chewy. Bummer they were out of the 2005 since this was for our 10 year anniversary.
