Slumming it tonight. Three 2013 Mendoza Malbec. This is from 4430' elevation. Black fruit, coffee, vanilla, violets, and oak, do a good job masking a green streak that lurks beneath.

Pretty good, quite intense with strong tannins, hints of red fruit and spices. Not too intense though, very drinkable and enjoyable! Very good value.

Ordered it in Lithuania on the Baltic town of Palanga to have with fish. Yes fish and we loved it. At 28 Euro it was great value in this fancy restaurant
