Formed of 62% Syrah, 15% Carignan, 12% Vermentino, 11% Grenache is a cheery blend. Very southern France, but these are Cali grapes. All the red fruits on the nose: raspberry-intensive with red plum/strawberry/ruby red grapefruit asterisk. On the palate, increasingly minerally, some very ripe citrus and rose petal creeping in. Totally quaffable.
