Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A Napa cab I can get behind. Obviously incredibly young but shows great notes of smoked meat, black fruit and boat loads of minerality. This is 10 years from ready. Easily.

I was blown away by this. Dark purple color. Ripe blackberry and black cherry, strong cedar box, tobacco leaves, liquorice, hint of vanilla and herb, reminds me of Pauillac. Great structure and mid palate, silky, med-high tannic, very enjoyable. Some ages will promote this wine a lot but now it's drinking beautifully already. 13.9% alc. 2012 vintage

Very very good

1hr+ decant. Drinking at its prime! Dark purple color. Massive pencil shavings, cedar, and herbs on the nose. Silky texture with big dark fruit and great depth. Long finish. This was fantastic!

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Dark cherries and surprisingly hot on the nose. Wine is young and needs a longer decant. Cherries and subtle caramel and cedar on the palate, but a touch watery. Medium minus finish.

Surprisingly good. Under 14% which I appreciated. Not giving a ton on the nose, but great red and dark fruit with sweet wood and earth. Nice finish too.

Solid, spicy, hints of currents and cherries. Perfect for our late birthday celebration.

Tons of dark fruit and vanilla. Some brighter cherry notes coming through. Fairly well integrated tannins for such a young wine. Delicious

Velvety smooth, zero bite, complex yet round in flavor. Definitely allow to breath after decanting. Paired with filets and prime rib at Prhyme

Obviously very young but made in the style of old school Napa cabs. Great depth, length and structure but very enjoyable even at this young age. Another solid effort from Dunn
