Jun 30th, 2016Beautiful wine that is showing great. Decanted for about 2 hours. Lots of sedimentation in the bottle. Ripe on the nose with hints of fresh blackberries. Full bodied and just the right amount of acidity.

The nose explodes with mushroom when opened. Forest floor, mushroom, black cherry, cola, and cranberry. Medium tannins. Medium alcohol. Great balance. Nice finish, though not terribly long.
