Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

This is nice.

Great nose on wine. Too much alcohol came through on palate. Wine was a little unbalanced, mid-palate was almost non-existent. Note: Wine was served at improper temperature and was opened immediately before tasting.

Pretty, delicate version of Chardonnay!

Good example of California Chardonnay. Oyster shells and minerals.

Finally got round to trying one of Failla's wines: austere stony nose, with a delicate creaminess on the palate.

Cool, fruity nose. Decent acid and minerality with modest oak.

Really enjoyable. CA and pretty elegant.

Great acid. Minerals. Nice fruit.

at first, surprised how much i like this, but then it all made sense.

Not overly oaked but with just enough citrus and malo to pair perfectly with sea scallops.
