Serie A Valle de Uco Malbec

Full bodied white pepper showing big time

Lots of fruit & really soft tannins. Great on its own or with a big, juicy burger.

Drank with best lamb I have had in Villa la Angostra, Argentina

Excellent value, versatile. Cherry and chocolate.

Lacked a bit of power to it which I expected

Hints of kirsch, tobacco and spice in the nose. A core of wet earth, dark cherry and raspberries wrapped in slight acidity and firm tannins

Violet and cassis on the nose. Red fruits and med tannins. Good value

This Malbec is not really one I would want to drink often, as it's a little too tannic for me and it seems to lack the rich depth of flavor that's characteristic of most other Malbecs I've tried. However, perhaps it would be better paired with foods that are more hearty and rich than I'm eating!
