My rating holds firm for this lovely Gigondas. A well crafted blend of 80% Grenache 20% Syrah, deep purple color , aromas full of geranium, sweet spices, black fruits and a touch of black cherries, full body, with excellent acidity, very spicy yet round and generous round yet a touch rough tannins, long delicious finish, wine has evolved brut idylls over the last decade and is at its peak with another 2-5 years drinking window, my score 89, drink to 2019

The wind has a ruby red color , classical nose of wet forest floor, mushrooms, black current, coffee and a little touch of tar, full body with mild round tannins and a great acidity, long and yummy chewy finish, my score 88, drink 2009-2018.
