La Magdalena Napa Valley Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon

Just a bruiser. High quality fruit showing but the tannic beast is really scaring everything else away. Hold.

Tasted blind in a black Riedel somm stem. Called Napa Cab/Cab Franc blend. Explosive mid palate, long chalky finish and great acid. Very well structured and balanced.

In a great place. Love the cab franc on the back end

Very smooth. Silky.

As this wine opens, it just keeps getting better and better. Strong nose, textured finish. Still slightly tannic as it pulls your mouth to a pucker.
