This was very tannic when I first tried it st the winery. It has aged nicely. Gave it 2 hours of air but it’s pretty velvety. Considering the reputation of 2011 Napa, this is quite a good effort. Good stuff.

Just over half Cabernet in this blend, which shows in its softer tannins and easy approachability. There’s a pleasant fresh herb element to the red and black fruit here, which comes across as an accent rather than suggesting under-ripeness. We enjoyed it most with food.
