Yup Pinotage from Cali. Had to try it. On sale at K&L. Smoked meat, blueberries, cherries. Blind I wouldn't have gone pinotage....it was a good wine but the fruit and acid were a hair out of balance. Curious to try a younger version.

Super pretty pinotage. Floral, black and blue fruits, licorice. NO burnt rubber :)

Floral, underripe red fruits. Acidic bite and tart - could do with a few more years for sure but definitely tasty

Dark fruit, hints of chocolate and vanilla. Decanted. refined tannins. Overall quite delicious !
