It surprised me. It’s got a tropical herbaceous thing. Like the tropical cocktail with just enough herb garnish to cut through whatever juice is in it. And bone dry. Do I have a metaphor for this...let’s see it is a movie that’s starts as a chick flick and then has a deep message but then still has a happy slightly cliché ending, and you’re okay with it. Light yellow. No real pronounced nose. Taste was muted. Detected some pear, apple and stone fruit. Quick finish. Acceptable.

Overall a decent Chenin Blanc. It has the typical tropical fruit notes of South Africa, but they are dulled a little by a spruce of citrus and a little bit of clay left on the palate. I would recommend for patio sipping on a hot afternoon with a mix of spicy snacks.
