Inigo Montoya Tempranillo

Dry, tannic, restrained, vegetal but lithe. Earthy flavors of sage, blood, and stone. A very interesting, cryptic Tempranillo.

Restrained but wonderfully well structured Tempranillo. Black plum, black pepper, black berries, and black angus! Just kidding about that last one ;) It is kind of meaty though, in a serano ham sort of way. Subtle anise and coffee hints add some beautiful background notes. Yum!

Yummy in that modern tempranillo oaky fashion. I need to put the others down for a couple years.

Gramercy Cellars crushes it. Beautiful structure, dark cherries, leather. This one can be laid down for a few years and will continue to evolve.

Spectacular! Wish I had cases of it!
