Sharp in the beginning. Gets better as it opens up.

Could probably benefit from a year or two on its side. Earthy and surprisingly tannic for a Pinot.

This nose jumps out with a ton of cherry and cola, but authentic and not artificial. On the palate there is more of a sour cherry component, carmelized red fruit, a whif of campfire in the background.

HWT - had a 3 liter bottle with Stacy and Gerald - delicious and held up well to hot curry, lamb kabobs etc. Not earthy even though it’s from Soledad CA. $99 for this massive bottle

Tart cherry nose. Silky mouthfeel with dark cherry, cranberry, strawberry, clove, and minerals. This is a medium bodied red, bigger then your average Pinot, with moderate acid and tannins. It starts a little slow but builds and holds your attention beautifully through a tangy, cinnamon and smoky finish. A well balanced and serious SLH treat.
