Intense translucent ruby red core that has a beautiful brightness to it. The bouquet is fresh and concentrated with ripe red fruits, wild flowers and a nice integrated earthiness. The palate is silky and focused with great tension and persistence and a long finish. #Hanzell has yet again knowcked one out of the park! Drink now and enjoy over the next 7+ years.

Black cherry, strawberry jam, hint of black pepper, subtle clean minerality. Very ripe very round perfect acid like medium, medium plus. I like to say sorrel/rhubarb when I taste something like if you eat a strawberry leaf. It has a smooth woodiness to it. I know hanzell does a good amount of new French oak on wines.. this was perfectly balanced with the oak. I always feel like this winery is so underrated. So much depth and sensual vibes going on

Snappy local gem. Not gamey or musty at all. Pomegranate, cherry, and a whole lot of tang. Disappeared fast.
