Ripe dark fruit note such as black berry, black cherry, black currant with steel, pencil shave, licorice with cinnamon, clove, med acidity, med plus acidity. Even though with ripe fruit notes on the nose and palate, it's somehow quite dry. Beautiful Cab with a Bordeaux soil.

The 12 vintage in Napa seems not to shut down in the bottle. It's a drink now or cellar vintage. Black and blue fruits leading the palate with strawberries pulling up the rear. Light spice and dry earth follow. Star anise and a long rich milk chocolate fruit finish.

A full bodied somewhat complex wine. Prominent black currant and leather. Cherry branches and some chocolate. A bit disappointing for the price, but still nice.
