Unculín Bierzo Mencia
Bierzo, Castilla y León, SpainHate giving this a score; so tasty, if not especially complex. Tad dry on the finish.

High toned cherries/raspberry, perfume, cinnamon, licorice, eucalyptus, allspice. Refreshing and easy drinking red on a moderate frame.

The Dictionary Of Soul should have an entry for the Unculin Mencia from Jose Garcia . This wine is sleek & elegant stuff with plenty of soul. This album also has plenty of soul, it’s the Dictionary after all. Happy Wednesday.

Pronounced fruit, red floral, cedar, wet bark and cinnamon nose. Bone dry but generous red raspberry, with tobacco and spice notes on the palate. Tasty as hell with a long finish. Really great value, too.
