Keller Vineyards, owned by the Keller family, located in Sonoma Coast. A big wine with fruit & earthy aromas. On the palate cherry & tart strawberry flavors with hints of vanilla & soft cedar, well balanced. Soft smooth tannins on medium finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Nice!

Very oaky and primary. Vanilla layered on top of sweet red fruits. Enjoyable. Might last for the long haul if the oak subsides.

The '12 was a marvelous vintage for El Coro, on the upper EASTERN edge of this Wind Gap AVA, getting wild on aroma from the diurnal temperature variations and calcareous soils. Get it if you can find it.
