Signature Series Mendoza Malbec

Beautifully soft and integrated tannins with med + acid. Blackberry/black currant, hint of wood and iron. Classic violet/leafy nose. Very good.

Surprise! Aged so well and tastes more earthy than what I thought an Argentinian Malbec would be

CVed 8/15/17. Just found in Costco and curious at $15. Plummy and mature dark red fruits on nose with hints of vanilla and sweetness but quite balanced. Palate that's silky and floral without going overboard. Medium finish of red fruits. Good value and not fruit bomb I was weary of. Should get another and let it age.

Not great. Harsh on the finish.

Sweet on first contact. Nice bright fruit on the palate. Long smooth finish. 14.5% but you would never know it. Not overly memorable but very very enjoyable.

One of the better Malbecs I've had in a while.

Very surprising Malbec. A little fruity up front, but still balanced. Pairs well with a good juicy burger

2011 vintage. An unorthodox Malbec. Not velvety but very big and bold on the palate.

Black currant and high alcohol. Medium body and medium finish has marked minerality of chalk and limestone.
